Lee Coker, Principal

Prior to launching Fourth Factor Advisors, Lee was a Manager in the Corporate Partnerships Program at Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), a leading national nonprofit organization.  Lee managed EDF's Green Returns initiative with KKR, The Carlyle Group, Oak Hill Capital Partners and other leaders in the private equity sector to identify opportunities to reduce environmental impacts and build more valuable, competitive companies.  He also led the creation, development and communications surrounding EDF’s ESG Management Tool for the private equity sector.  Lee’s appointment to EDF was through the Geballe Fellowship, a two-year competitive program designed to train rising business leaders in EDF's approach to achieving environmental solutions with business benefits.

Prior to joining EDF, Lee worked with Walmart’s business strategy and sustainability team, and also led consulting engagements with Investors’ Circle, Ford Foundation and HIP Investor.

He has served as a guest lecturer to several M.B.A. programs, including the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Presidio Graduate School and Bard College.  His work has been featured in Private Equity International, Mergers and Acquisitions, Pensions and Investments, and Environmental Finance. 

Lee holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Alabama and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina.  

Will Lynn, Affiliate Consultant

Prior to working with Fourth Factor Advisors, Will was a Principal and founding member of Irbaris, a specialist strategy and sustainability consulting firm in the United Kingdom. Will has led engagements with Fortune 100 clients in multiple sectors including utilities, oil & gas, financial services, automotive, chemicals and food & beverage.  Will has worked on projects in Europe, North America, Africa and parts of central Asia.  His work has primarily focused on the commercial implications of climate change issues, and he has significant experience working on the financial impact of environmental risks on major investment decisions.

Will was a part of the team that created Ceres Aqua Gauge, an easy and efficient way for companies and their investors to assess, improve and communicate their corporate-wide water risk management approach He also partnered with EDF on the organization's ESG Management Tool for the private equity sector.

Will has spoken at numerous events, including the CEO Water Mandate and the Cleantech Forum Europe, and has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University and University College London.

Will holds a Master's in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and currently resides in Los Angeles.

Emily Martin, Affiliate Consultant

Emily Martin is a Sustainability Management Consultant in San Francisco, CA.  She brings an interdisciplinary skill set to clients' sustainability challenges and is passionate about creating and implementing economically sound programs that benefit the environment.  Her recent work is focused on international renewable energy development, clean technology deployment, and supply chain sustainability for the apparel industry. Before attending Business school Emily managed the carbon reduction program for Harvard's Office of Sustainability.  

Emily holds an MBA with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University with a concentration in Energy and the Environment.  She also holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Harvard University.
